Electronic Giving
Save time and simplify your life as you support the ministries of St. Peter & St. Paul. Our Electronic Giving program is an automated program that will allow you to make contributions electronically, rather than writing checks or using cash each week. This giving option works in the same manner as mortgages, loan payments, or insurance premiums that are automatically withdrawn from your bank account.
Here is how it works: You authorize a specified amount of money to be electronically transferred directly on a regular basis from your checking or savings account to the parish account. Your authorization can be made for pledges to our operating fund or our building fund or to specific amounts for both. You also specify the frequency of the transfer, which can be weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly.
It is fast, safe and easy! In fact, it is less risky than checks, as it cannot be lost, stolen, or destroyed. The electronic transfer will cost you NOTHING and you save the cost of the check. As with traditional giving, St. Peter and St. Paul will issue you periodic contribution statements for your tax records, and your bank statements will provide you with a record of transfer as additional proof of your contributions. Donations via electronic transfer can be made to our general operating fund or our building fund.
Of course you can cancel your authorization of transfer at any time by notifying us in writing. But many people find electronic giving a very helpful way to give to the church. Electronic giving yields very significant benefits for you: the satisfaction of giving to God first, the ease of fulfilling stewardship commitments, and provision for keeping current with your pledge even if you are out of town. Our parish also benefits from more predictable cash flow and less work for our staff.
To enroll, simply complete our parish electronic giving authorization form and return it to our parish office. It’s that easy! If you have any questions, please contact Amy Pillsworth 770.977.7473, or email at: [email protected].
